Korean Jung-Hee Jokdoori Jeweled Dancing Crown. The Jung-Hee Jokdoori was originally designed for a ceremonial Dance and Music celebration during the reign of King Se-Jong (1397 -1450). This large, curved Jokdoori makes a very stable headpiece. The Jokdoori is a traditional and colorful headpiece for Girls and Women of all ages. Korean Girls and Women wear Jokdoori for any formal occasion: parties, dances, plays, and weddings. The Jokdoori is held in place with an elastic cord and hairpins. You wear the Jokdoori perched forward on your head with the tassels hanging over your brow. The Jokdoori should never be worn tilted to the side.
