Jang-Go, the famous 'Hourglass Drum' from Korea, is used in nearly every type of traditional Korean Music, Dance, and Drama. From classical ceremonies in the Korean royal court to the traditional farmers' and mask dances, the unique sound of the Jang-Go Drum is heard throughout Korean culture.
This is the large size Korean Jang-Go Drum and is usually played by taller women and men.

The two larger Jang-Go Drums are usually played while resting on the floor, or on a Jang-Go Drum Stand.
